Some gorgeous new glass watering bulbs. Especially useful for thirsty plants, like ferns, as they keep the soil consistently moist. Also great for keeping plants moist while you're away. They’re not recommended for succulents and plants that like to dry out between waterings.

How they work

Water is gradually released when the soil becomes dry. They generally need refilling once every week or two, depending on the type of soil, the bulb's size, the amount of water the plants use, and the surrounding temperature.

How to use them

To use a watering globe, fill it with water, cover the hole with your finger. Make sure the soil is damp before inserting the bulb, and use a tool to make a hole in the soil that's about the same diameter as the spout, then slowly place it into the moist soil.

How to maintain them

They need to be filled regularly and cleaned occasionally. Soil can sometimes get stuck in the spout, so you should check that the water height is decreasing.
