This funky blue fern is native to the tropical rainforests of South America, it is an epiphyte, meaning it attaches itself to, and grows on trees. Often found in the canopy of rainforests but also on the lower levels on the forest too. This means it will like a warm, humid environment out of direct sunlight. So is ideal in a steamy bathroom or kitchen. Alternatively you could put a tray of moistened pebbles under the pot.
Although Blue Star fern can tolerate lower light it will thrive in a medium to bright spot out of direct sun, which may scorch the leaves.
Spring/summer check the soil weekly and allow the top 1/4 to dry out before watering. Autumn/winter reduce watering frequency, allow the top half of soil to dry. The soil should be kept moist but not soggy.
Comes in a pot of your choice, options at checkout with detailed care instructions.
